Arrests in Puerto Rico, US in document fraud case (AP)

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico ? Federal agents are arresting dozens of people in Puerto Rico and in the mainland United States in a document fraud case.

A spokesman for U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations says 13 people were arrested in Puerto Rico without incident. Ivan Ortiz says those arrested include U.S. citizens as well as suspects from the nearby Dominican Republic.

Ortiz says about 50 people were being arrested Wednesday in all at various locations, most of them in the mainland U.S. He declined to provide details on the charges. Officials were expected to hold a news conference later in Washington to discuss the case.
