Georgia State Patrol reports a Gwinnett County sheriff's deputy's vehicle was involved in a wreck at 1:20 a.m. this morning on Georgia Highway 81 at Double Springs Road in Walton County.
According to the trooper, a Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department vehicle ran off the road, struck an embankment and overturned several times. ?In a press release, GSP reported that nobody was around the vehicle when first responders arrived. Barrow Patch has the full story.
Residents of Powder Springs and unincorporated Cobb attending a packed town hall meeting Tuesday night appeared split on how they will vote on changing their ZIP code from Hiram?s 30141 to Powder Springs? 30127.
