Goal Areas: Financial, Legal, Real Estate
So far I?ve written about resolutions, hopes, and wishes for 2013, now it?s time to get serious. What are your goals and what?s the plan? How are you going to make things happen this year? Let?s start with goals, in each of these areas how would you describe your situation? What could be improved?
1. Financial ? get it together. What is your current status? Do you know where all of your important documents are? If something happened and you missed a paycheck would you still be okay?
2. Legal ? the complete picture. Do you have a will? Power of attorney, custody arrangements? Is there anything you?ve been putting off and keep meaning to do each year?
3. Real estate ? what you?ve got. If you have property or are planning on buying soon, you probably have a laundry list of things to look into?repairs to be made or neighborhoods to investigate. What do you want to happen this year?
We?ll revisit this tomorrow. These three areas could take up all your time and energy if you let them. How are things looking for you? What goals would you like to set for 2013? If you?ve been thinking about how to get cash for structured settlements, you should talk to a buyer of structured settlement payments about how to make your goals come true this year.
